Ben Churchill is a director, producer, and editor of documentary films and series.
Ben’s latest projects include Video World, a short documentary which explores the dying culture of movie rental stores, Toy Place, a short documentary about the family behind the Vermont Toy Museum which features nearly 100,000 toys, and Doing America, a road-trip travel series featuring tourist destinations and roadside attractions throughout the United States and the revelations one experiences as they explore the country by car. Ben’s work is currently available on DVD and digital platforms including Hulu and Amazon Instant Video.

Ben is also the Senior Producer/Editor for TV4 Entertainment, Inc. in Santa Monica, California. He co-heads Television Four Studios, a division of TV4 Entertainment, producing original content for TV and digital distribution. Productions include documentary films, docu-series, and talk shows created for networks focused on specific genres including boxing, motor-sports, and the military. In 2014, Ben directed Bob Marley: Giant, a short documentary produced by Television Four Studios, about Dennis Morris who was the photographer for Jamaican reggae singer-songwriter Bob Marley during the 1970’s.

Ben is also the director/editor of the Blind Film Critic and The Tommy Edison Experience series on YouTube and Hulu. The shows feature Tommy Edison, who has been blind since birth, bringing a unique perspective to watching movies or talking about the funny side of being blind. In 2010, Ben was the producer/editor of the feature length documentary No Kidding, Me 2! starring and directed by Joe Pantoliano (The Sopranos, The Matrix, Memento) which appeared on PBS and is available on Amazon and iTunes. The film examines the stigma that surrounds mental illness and how we can overcome it. Watch the trailer below.

Before producing and directing documentary films and series, Ben was a producer and on-air radio personality for over 10 years. Plus, he was the Production Director at the American Comedy Network producing daily comedy segments for morning radio shows across the country including The Howard Stern Show from 1999-2006. Ben also produced the weekly-to-monthly comedy variety show, The Radio Trip, for 9 years which featured stand-up comedy, clips from movies and television, and classic comedy sketches.
