Blind Film Critic Tommy Edison was walking around Milford, Connecticut during his lunch break. He was alone, using his mobility stick to navigate through a neighborhood he knows very well. When crossing the entrance to the Milford Train Station, a car side-swiped Tommy, breaking his stick in half. The driver of the car did not stop to see if Tommy was injured. They kept driving.

The incident took place on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 around 1:05 PM in downtown Milford, Connecticut at the entrance of the Milford Train Station on River Street (northbound side of the tracks).
