Blind Film Critic Tommy Edison reviews the movie “Hangover Part II”. He explains how the movie is mostly made up of “sight gags”. Tommy shows us how a couple sight gags appears to him by showing you the joke with the picture and then showing it without the picture.
Starring: Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis. Storyline: Right after the bachelor party in Las Vegas, Phil, Stu, Alan, and Doug jet to Thailand for Stu’s wedding. Stu’s plan for a subdued pre-wedding brunch, however, goes seriously awry.

THE HANGOVER PART II movie review – TRANSCRIPT
This is one of those movies where you’ve got to see part 1 in order to get part 2. If you go in at just part 2, huh, you may as well just go in like me. (laughs)
(edited trailer)
So it’s been a couple years and it’s finally here. Bridesmaids for men!
I mean, I thought the story was okay. I thought it was pretty predictable. I think it’s the same movie, just all over again. Just redone a couple years later… some new jokes in it.
Bradley Cooper on the other hand I thought was fantastic. I love when he’s on screen.
Ed Helms plays Stu and a lot of people love this guy and I gotta be honest, it doesn’t really work for me. I thought he pushed too hard. He wants to be funny, but for me it seems to take away from the human part of his character.
Zach Galifianakis – fantastic as Alan. They really show the depth this guy can bring to a part. And believe me, this is not the last we’ve seen of him. He’s going to be doing some dramatic roles and stuff in the future for sure.

The soundtrack in the movie is nice. You know, the music really does add to it. A couple of Kanye tracks and a bunch of other stuff as well. Deadmau5 (Deadmouse), Danzig, a great Curtis Mayfield cut.

Hangover 2 is one of these movies that really relies on the sight gag. Trust me, I know this. The tattoo – a sight gag. Right? The monkey – a sighted joke on legs. And the way I find out, later on they just go — “Oh, it’s a monkey!” — And the shock of the thing and the scream and all that kind of thing… it’s not going to be that funny anymore. Man, you sighted people get all the breaks, don’t you?! (laughs)
So, for “The Hangover Part II”, I’m giving it 2.5 out of 4 eyes open. I want script and character development. They left that all in the first movie! (laughs)
